Close Call

First picture I've finished in well over a month now. I can't believe how unproductive I've been on the art end of things...
So here's another scene from By Affliction of Emotion. I'm not terrribly happy with this picture. I just plain suck at backgrounds. Reeeaally need to practice those. Also the perspective bugs me...I dunno...it just annoys me. Although I quite enjoyed writing this particular scene. I wish a could add a snippit of it here in the artist comments, but alas it would be a spoiler. I suppose the picture itself is a bit of a spoiler actually. XD But this was one of those scenes I needed to draw before I was able to write it. Sometimes it just works that way. Goodness gracious Mania is unimpressed in this. I'm not used to seeing him with such a serious expression... *nervous chuckle*
